When one of my fellow interns left my internship company, I was very sad to see her go. Because I really enjoyed working with her and knew I would miss her, I decided to make something for her.

I made a drawing of her, incorporating her distinctive features. I decided to recreate her using photos of her and looking closely at the elements that make her so recognisable.

When I had finished, I gave her a telephone to hold, because she often had to make calls during her internship.

When I gave her the drawing, she was very pleased with it. She recognised herself in it, so I had achieved my goal.
