In October 2025, Ontdekstation held an event called TTT, Future Technical Talent, where secondary schools could come and teach students more about technology. All kinds of companies related to technology were present at the event. All activities were divided into squares and themes. Each square had a banner with an icon and the title on it. Because two new squares had been added this year, I was asked to design the icons for them. I had to do this for the banners for the ICT square and the Leisure & Food square.

For the banner for the ICT square, I quickly came up with the idea of creating something with a computer, but I thought it would be boring to just put an empty computerscreen on it without anything on it. That's why I decided to put a Wi-Fi logo on it, because it also gives off a bit of an ICT vibe.

The banner for Leisure & Food was a bit more difficult, because I had to combine two different subjects. I decided to draw a spotlight for Leisure. Then I came up with icons for food. I had drawn different types of food, but in the end I went for the biscuit, because it best suited the company that was at that square during the event. I then combined the two illustrations. I placed the biscuit over the spotlight so that it became a whole, but you could still clearly see that they were two different things.

At the event, I also saw the banners in real life, which was really cool. It was great to see my own work in real life, and I was proud that it was actually being used.
