A few months before I started my internship at Ontdekstation, they had adopted a new corporate identity. The Discovery Centre was still littered with signs and information cards bearing the old logo. Naturally, this had to change.
I redesigned a few of those signs. For example, I redid the sign hanging in the toilet that says “Please put paper towels in the bin!”. I drew a robot putting a piece of paper in a bin, so that even children who can't read yet know what to do.
I also redesigned the signs for the security cameras, as these were still in the old house style. So I made a sign with the new house style. I used the colours of the house style and put the new logo on it.
Ontdekstation has a podcast studio where children can record their own podcasts. I always had to email these to the children, but the recordings were often too long and couldn't be sent. That's why I created a sign stating that podcast recordings could onlybe a maximum of 10 minutes long. Of course, I also made this sign in the corporate identity and used the robot from the paper towel sign now holding a clock.
